A good profile doesn't need to impress everyone. It needs to show who you are clearly enough that the right people want to talk to you.
Be specific
"I love travel and good food" could describe nearly anyone. "I will drive an hour for good ramen" gives someone a reason to reply.
Give an easy opening
End a prompt with something people can answer. A debate about the best breakfast food is an easier starting point than a list of adjectives.
Keep it positive
Skip the list of what you don't want. Complaints about apps or dating read as tired, even when they are fair. Say what you enjoy and what you are looking for.
Be honest
Use your real height, age, and intentions. Anything false will come out by the first date, and it costs you trust you can't easily earn back.
Move to a date reasonably soon
Long chats build a version of someone that real life can't match. After a few good exchanges, suggest meeting.
